About Design for Life
This book by newcomer John Cornbill will literally take you on the journey your life, through a detailed analysis of who you are and what you want, to the production of a full blown plan for your life – a Life Design – which will help you get to where you want to be. On the way, Daily Pages and thought provoking quotations will keep you motivated and focussed on achieving your objectives.

"It's never too late to be what you might have been."

George Ernst

This is a book which could change your life!

The Things I Wished they Had Told Me
People have asked me how long Design for Life took me to write. My answer is two years, 20 years and a lifetime. I have been a life-long fan of self improvement books. Some people are cynical about their value, but they have worked for me. However, although they worked, I often found they didn’t give me everything I wanted and needed. For example, some told me I needed a Life Plan, but didn’t provide me with a template and others asked me to explore my motivations without explaining what they might be or how I could find them.

So finally I wrote the book that I wished I had been able to get hold of 30 years ago. As a project it took me two years from beginning to end; it took 20 years to move from the original idea to doing something about it and I poured a lifetime of learning and experience into it. The rest will soon be history.

Interesting!

"Opportunity, for most of us, doesn't knock just once; she raps a continual tattoo on our doors. The pity is that most of the time we're either too pre-occupied to hear or too lethargic to answer."
